Meg-Nificent Nails & Gift Boutique is a licensed nail salon proudly named after the owner, Megan Miller and has been established since February 1st 2016. Megan started a small at home business in the year of 2015 previously known as M&M Fashion Boutique right in the middle of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. She offered a variety of retail items such as; clothing, candles, indoor/outdoor home accents, decor & more. She decided to take her career a step further by obtaining professional training and certification in the cosmetology industry as a licensed Nail Technician and CMP (Certified Master Podologist) with intentions on offering her customers more than just a transaction, a variety of services that would satisfy them upon each visit. On February 1st 2016 M&M Fashion Boutique was changed to MegNificent Nails & Gift Boutique to combine both businesses and advertise accordingly . As the business started to grow Megan relocated her nail salon & gift boutique to the Woodlawn Center in Dartmouth, N.S on September 1st 2017. After such a successful move and another great year of gaining new clientele Megan took the opportunity to expand her shop on February 1st 2019 to provide customers with more space, services & retail products. Since the pandemic , with unexpected mandatory closures due to city lockdowns the business was able to survive and continue operating just as we were all facing such hard challenges. Megan decided to form a team of additional staff members to offer more services, and availability to her clients.
